Ñan Travel Routes
Ecuador’s “emerald-green” coastal province. A rainy and wet realm (it actually records some of the highest precipitation levels in the world), full of hard-to-reach forests, some of which can only be accessed by river. Here the Chocó “bioregion”, among the world’s most biodiverse, extends down to line its beaches with lush vegetation. This is the birthplace of Afro-Ecuadorian culture, marked by traditional dances, the sound of the marimba and delicious coconut-infused food (and drink).
