Ñan Travel Routes

A deep history of ancestral cultures shines through in Manabí. From archeological sites to artisan workshops of age-old practices like the weaving of paja toquilla (used among other things to make the world-famous and misnamed “Panamá” Hat), this coastal province is full of traditional wisdom. Some of the most important (and the oldest) artifacts in all of the Americas come from here. Its ecological makeup is equally unique and varied, with dry forests, wet forests, island environments and Ecuador’s most spectacular beaches.
