Close encounters of the Galápagos kind
In Galápagos you can witness fabulous, incomparable, unforgettable, natural events: the hatching of an egg, the affections of a couple, the feeding of a young bird, a deadly fight between brothers, as well as the always bizarre courtship dances and offerings. Birds land centimeters from us, their nests strewn carelessly on the path as we walk up and down the islands.
In the Galápagos, we get closer to nature than the BBC, becoming part of its reel, becoming part of that other Galápagos laboratory, which places us, human beings – during our tourism activities – in a petri dish.
